Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using FounderMarket, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services. We may update these terms at any time.

2. Marketplace Services

FounderMarket provides a platform for buying and selling startups. We:

• Facilitate connections between buyers and sellers
• Provide revenue verification services
• Coordinate secure escrow through Escrow.com
• Do not guarantee any transaction outcomes

3. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Not misrepresent revenue or business data
• Complete transactions in good faith
• Comply with all applicable laws
• Not use the platform for fraudulent purposes

4. Fees

FounderMarket charges a 5% success fee on completed transactions. This fee is charged to the seller upon successful closing of a deal. Listing is free. There are no fees for buyers.

5. Escrow Services

All transactions use Escrow.com for secure fund holding. Escrow.com has its own terms of service that apply to the escrow portion of transactions. FounderMarket is not liable for escrow-related disputes.

6. Limitation of Liability

FounderMarket is a marketplace platform. We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings, the success of transactions, or the performance of acquired businesses. Use at your own risk and conduct your own due diligence.

7. Dispute Resolution

Disputes between buyers and sellers should first be resolved through our messaging system. For escrow-related disputes, Escrow.com provides mediation services. FounderMarket may assist but is not obligated to resolve disputes.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Users may delete their accounts at any time. Active transactions must be completed or cancelled before account deletion.
